U staat versteld van de vele actieve ontspanningsmogelijkheden die de omgeving rijk is. Een eenmalig verblijf in onze prachtige gites is niet genoeg om de omgeving te leren kennen. Hieronder vindt u per activiteitensoort verschillende locaties voor een onvergetelijk verblijf in onze regio.



For those who like to walk, there are several routes that crosses our cottages.  You can find the GR 128, route of Flanders wich starts in Wissant, you have also the GRP "tour du boulonnais" who follows a great part of the GR 128.  Discover also several parts of the "Via Francigena", that starts in Canterbury and goes to Rome.  The french part starts in Calais and passes in a few  villages by the cost, before  turning to Guines and  Licques, two villages near the cottages.
You have also an interesting network of local routes for over 300km,  to walk or ride.  
So, make your choice.  You can discover the forest, the fields, the valleys, the beaches and the dunes however you like : by foot, by bicycle, by mountenbike, by horse, ...

Le Rando-Rail - Nielle-les-Bléquin
For those looking for some active fun, the “Rando-Rail” starting from Nielles-les-Bléquin is an amusing way to pedal along the old railway line. There are two different round trips, each 9 km long, taking in woodlands and the open countryside of the Artois hills.
Isnor - Clairmarais
Discover the Audomarois marshes at your own pace... . Visitors have a wide choice of craft at their disposal: canoes, rowing boats, motor boats or launches offering guided tours. Or for a more original form of transport, try a surf bike and pedal across the water! And why not stop off at one of the picnic areas along the way?


Etangs de Courtebourne - Licques
In a greenery and quietness setting, come and go fishing with friends. You could catch trouts during half a day or a whole day.
If your passion is sea-fishing, rock-fishing or port-fishing ... prepare to enter the paradise. Surfcasting, pierfishing and boatfishing for the sea angles all along the Opale Coast from Dunkerk to Le Touquet Paris Plage.

The windy coastline and superb pale sandy beaches which stretch for miles are the ideal place to practice sand-yachting. The « Trophée Vauban » race takes place every year in Gravelines in May.

A waterland adventure park. Cross the river on giant lilies to reach Pirate Island or ride the river on an inflatable raft. If none of that impresses you, try the "Black hole" for size, from the top of the pyramid jump into an inflatable boat and slide down a 1,5 m. wide tube !!

Bagatelle - Merlimont
This major fun family theme park is set in 26 hectares of land to the south of le Touquet. 40 rides for all ages, shows, an animal park and great places to eat ensure a full day's fun for all the family.

Bal Parc - Tournehem sur Hem
Pedal boats, mini-golf, model farm and attractions for children aged 3 to 12. There is a restaurant, cafetaria and picnic areas with barbecues to hire.

Eurolac - Ardres
All aboard! Miniature boats that you can captain for yourselves! Sailing, canoeing, mountain-biking on and around the lake. Also Boats, pedal boats and motor boats for hire on the lake.

Passion d'aventure - Guines
Monkeybridges, hanging beams, gangways, Tyrolean traverses, flying stirrups, netsto climb,... experience a forest adventure, travelling from tree to tree, between 4 and 15 metres from the ground. Circuits up in the air of varying difficulty enable everyone to enjoy themselves, breathe the forest air, discover their abilities.
Play the "Golf-Pass" . The Côte d’Opale Golfpass is a good bargain to play 9 different 18 holes courses in Northen France. The Golf-Pass is available for 1 person. Only one course can be played in each golf.

AA Saint-Omer Golf Club - Lumbres
Haute-Drève course : 2015m - Par 31.

Du Val course : 6400m - Par 72.
Overlooking the magnificent Aa Valley, Saint-Omer Golf Club suggests you a technical and selective course where beginners and experienced players can find their own challenge. On the Val Course, the golfer can play from the simplest to the most complicated strokes. The elevation of the AA St. Omer Open de golf championship to the full European Tour has now put this club firmly on the map. The PGA European Tour arrives here in June, and the course remains in the most wonderful condition throughout the summer months.

Golf de Wimereux
Parcours 18 holes : 6150m - Par 72.

Situated within the dunes of Ambleteuse, and dating back to 1901, the traditional links beauty of Wimereux was redesigned after the first world war by British architects Campbell and Hutchinson. This stunning 6,726 yard Par 72 championship seaside layout features views out across the channel to the White Cliffs of Dover and heavy pot bunkering. The pedigree of the course is of a very high standard and it is for this reason that Wimereux has hosted many international and regional tournaments in recent years.

Golf des Dunes - Hardelot
Parcours : 18 holes - 5713m – Par 72.

Designed by Paul Rolin and Jean-Claude Cornillot in 1989, the Dunes Golf Course offers an extraordinary scene which is enhanced by its gentle slopes. In several places, the views are particularly spectacular, giving the golfer unforgettable images. The club-house, with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, was designed by Pierre-Louis Carlier and Yves Taralon.

Golf des Pins - Hardelot
Course : 18 holes - 5929 m – Par 73.

This golf course, designed in 1930 by Tom Simpson, is one of the most beautiful and technical in Europe. It has hosted the National Omnium, the French Professional Championship and the Nations' Cup. For the golfers, it represents the quintessence of British-style golf within a forest environment

Golf du Touquet
Course « la Forêt » : 18 holes - 5659m – Par 71.

Architect : Horace Hutchinson
Inaugurated in 1904, this course is beautifully set among pine trees. Sheltered from the wind, players of all different levels will find this course very pleasant and relaxing.

Course « la Mer » : 18 holes - 6275 m – Par 72.
Architect : Harry Colt

Open for play 1931, La Mer course is reminiscent of Scottish links, essentially laid out amongst the undulating dunes and exposed to the Channel winds. It has been selected several times for the organisation of "Majors".

Course « le Manoir » : 9 holes - 2817m – Par 35.
Architecte : Harold Baker

This course is ideal for learning or improving golf. Players can try out all the situations and difficulties of golf.

Golf de Dunkerque
Parcours 18 holes : 5710m - Par 71

After a warm-up on the 46-place Driving Range, 8 of which are on the upper level, golfers of all standards will discover an amazing patchwork of exceptionally large tee-offs,wide fairways gently undulating, but intimidating because of the ditches and lakes in which nine 'fortified' holes have been integrated. The layout of these holes are reminders of the architecture of the famous Vauban.

Dunkirk Golf is an unusual course which attracts golfers of all levels. The variety of flora and fauna and the panoramic views of the surrounding Flemish countryside are an added bonus for those who like to combine sport and the joys of nature. Add to that conviviality and a warm welcome, to make up all the ingredients for enjoyable moments on a very original and unique golf course.

Golf de Nampont-Saint-Martin/Berck-sur-Mer
Le Grand parcours des Cygnes : 18 holes - 6.051 m – Par 72.

This exceptional course begins at the delightful XVth century Château and follows the flow of a river which is the basis of the design.

Parcours « le Belvédère » : 18 holes - 5.275 m – Par 72.
This wooded course overlooks the most picturesque of the coastal valleys offering unique views. Water driving range with floating balls.

Golf de Belle Dune
Le Parcours :  18  holes - 5883 m - Par 72.

Only a stone's throw away from the sea, the Belle Dune Golf is ranked amongst the 10 best golf course in France.
The Belle Dune Golf Course blends in perfectly with the finest duneland in Europe, making it a worthy counterpart of the great British and Irish links courses.
Located in the south of Côte d'Opale, only 2 hours 30 mins from Paris or Brussels and 1 hour from Calais, the Belle Dune Golf is a further link in the chain of tourist attractions along this coast.

Golf d'Abbeville
Le Parcours du Val :  18  holes - 5924 m - Par 73.

« Abbeville Golf » golf course is set in the heart of Picardie directly on the Baie de Somme, which is famed for its Natural trails and one of the greatest birds watching spots in the world (Marquenterre). The course is both interesting and well kept with some spectacular holes, especially the final hole a 150 metre par three.

Golf d'Arras
Located 5 minutes from the town centre, trough ponds, hills and rivers, in the heart of the Scarpe Valley, Arras Golf Club is one of the finest golf resort in northern France.
The Vallée couse : 18 holes - 6117 m (6738 y)-  Par 72.
This course with a both varied and technical layout, hosts every year the Ladies French Open (Ladies European Tour). Accessible to all levels of golfers, in nevertheless constitues a veritable challenge.
The Aubépines course :  9 holes - 1710 m (1805 y) - Par 31.
Ideally suited for beginners and those wishing to improve their short game.

Golf du Bois de Ruminghem
Parcours 18 holes -  6100m - Par 73.

Golf du Bois de Ruminghem (near Eperlecques) consists of two totally different parts. Hole 1 to 10 of the golf course is mainly parkland with spectacular views of the coastline between Dunkirk and Calais. Hole 11 to 18 of the course is woodland with lots of ancient oak trees. The trees are punishing bad shots heavily while the adjoining fairways of the parkland part are more forgiving. This requires a different approach on the tees in the woods and on the plain.
